RESERVATION AND PAYMENT
After completing the Online Application Form, we will hold a space temporarily, but we must receive the non-refundable deposit of seven hundred and fifty Euros (750,00€) per person and a signed contract is required to secure a confirmed reservation for the trip within five (5) days of confirmation by Route team.
Final payment will be due on or before May 15, 2019. If your reservation is made within sixty (60) days of the beginning of the workshops (after May 15, 2019), the entire cost of the trip must be paid at the time of confirmation.
We will review completed applications within a few days and notify our admissions decision by email.
Accommodation is clean, safe and charming all over the trip, they vary from holiday camps, small lodges to local hostels and private homes. Most accommodations will be shared with two to six other participants, with private baths, beds, linens and towels. Private rooms are available upon request.

If you cancel your reservation, your right to receive a refund is limited, per the following schedule:
Before May 15, 2020 Route retains 50% of the fee for management costs and as compensation for the impossibility to assign her/his workshop place at too short notice.
Between May 15 and June 15, 2020 no refunds will be made.
If you cancel and provide a substitute participant for this trip, you will receive a full refund.
If Route has to cancel the workshop for any reason, participants will be refunded in full.

Info to check when traveling
Visa If you are an European passport holder, no visa is required in Senegal.
Language Senegal is a multicultural country, French is the official language and Wolof is the most widely spoken language. If you don’t speak any of these languages, we have a twenty four hours translator from English and Spanish.
Arrival Flights from Europe usually arrive to Banjul Airport around midnight. A Route members will wellcome you and will take you to the hotel.
Accommodation Participants will find several rooms with 2 to 6 beds. All rooms have it’s own sanitary facilities (wc/showers/bed linen and towel). Your participation fee includes accommodation in shared rooms. Private rooms could be available upon request. We remind you that accomodation, breakfast, lunch and dinner are included.
Workshops Starts First workshop starts on July 12th, 2020. We recomend to arrive the night before. After a briefing speech from the coordinator, workshops schedule and the groups will be defined every day.
Health Insurance Each participant is responsible for arranging a health insurance coverage, accident and liability for travel abroad including return transport to your country as well as theft insurance.
Highly reccomended get a short term insurance to protect from unpredictable accidents.
Vaccines and Medicines Even though the risk for the average traveller in senegal is low please avoid risks and make sure you are up-to-date on routine vaccines before this trip.
Weather We can expect high temperatures during this time,but could be cooler or even rainy in the south of the country.
Currency The currency unit is West African Franc (CFA). Banks and change offices are found in all larger towns across the country.
Security Exercise your common sense, stay away from dark streets, rely on taxis and avoid wearing expensive jewelry.
Important Things that are necesary to bring along: working clothes, first-aid kit.
